Taiwanese actor Lee Hong-chi, who won Best Actor at the Taipei Film Awards and Best New Performer at the Golden Horse Awards for “Thanatos, Drunk”, announced on the 3rd that he has married Chinese actress Wang Zixuan. The two were spotted dining together and returning home in 2022, and in 2023 Lee Hong-chi won the Lion of the Future Award at the 80th Venice International Film Festival with his directorial debut “Love is a Gun”—publicly confirming their relationship on stage when accepting the award. This year, for his second film “I Am the Happiest Baby in the World”, he simply cast Wang Zixuan as the lead, and the film again made it into the “International Critics’ Week” at the Venice Film Festival. Both publicly and privately, they make the perfect partners. On the 3rd, he shared: “In this marriage, we create together, we grow together, and gradually, we have become irreplaceable in each other’s lives.”

The 35-year-old Lee Hong-chi and 32-year-old Wang Zixuan appeared together on the cover of the fashion magazine Red Show GRAZIA to joyfully share their marriage news. Wang Zixuan participated in the Miss Universe pageant in 2011, winning the Best Talent Award, and after graduating from the Performance Department of Central Academy of Drama in 2014, she began her acting career. Her works include dramas such as “Tientsin Mystic” and “So Young”, as well as films like “Young Style” and “The Yinyang Master”. She also appeared in Season 3 of “Sisters Who Make Waves”.
