Malaysian goddess Lin Mingzhen’s rumored relationship with MIRROR member Edan (Lü Zhuo'an) since 2024 has stirred much public curiosity about their status. However, even at 35 years old, Lin Mingzhen still can’t escape relatives urging her to get married. Yet her bold answer not only dispelled any awkwardness but also made everyone laugh and won her praise from the elders.
According to Hong Kong media reports, Lin Mingzhen recently attended the closing ceremony of the “Asia-Pacific Youth Microfilm” event and shared in an interview the scenarios she encounters during Chinese New Year. Especially now that her younger brother has just gotten married, relatives went straight to her at the wedding banquet and asked, “When’s your turn?”
Nonetheless, Lin Mingzhen openly shared how she responded at the time: “I just told them, it’s alright! I have the best career, and I have the most money! Even though I haven’t settled down yet, I have the most money, and right now I still want to keep earning more.” Her answer had her relatives laughing out loud, even her brother and sister-in-law joked, saying they’ll leave it to Lin Mingzhen to take care of them in the future.
As for her mother’s thoughts? Lin Mingzhen said, “My mom doesn’t ask or urge me at all—she just wants me to be happy.” When asked at what age she aims to get married, she replied with a smile, “That can’t be predicted, it really depends on fate. Only when I truly feel like it can it really happen.” As for whether she minds having a child before marriage, Lin Mingzhen thinks that everything is a matter of good fate, and she doesn’t mind at all.
