(Miri, 7th) Pei Min Middle School Debate Team successfully held the "School Chinese Debate Competition" junior and senior preliminary rounds on July 4th and 5th, selecting four teams to advance to the finals.
This stimulating and high-level debate event attracted a total of nine teams, resulting in fierce competition. On stage, the participants engaged in sharp and witty exchanges, sparkling with clever remarks and heated arguments.

The Pei Zhong school internal debate competition finals will be held on July 11th at 6pm.
Pei Zhong principal Bei Meijiao said that this competition gathered the school's debate elites and serves as a model of rational dialogue, showcasing the vibrancy and critical thinking abilities of youth.
She encouraged students to actively participate in debate or public speaking, as such platforms not only cultivate civic literacy, but also hone critical thinking and communication skills, allowing both intelligence and eloquence to shine—sparking wisdom in intellectual clashes and broadening horizons in the collision of viewpoints.
She added that it is worth mentioning that all participating students were coached throughout the process by experienced debate team members, who provided technical guidance to help the debaters quickly grasp the pace of the competition. She hopes that this mentoring will pass on skills to newcomers, cultivating future successors.
