(Phnom Penh, 8th) – The Cambodian Ministry of Interior's Immigration Department has recently reminded the public to stay vigilant and guard against fraudulent websites impersonating Cambodia’s official electronic arrival permit platform to avoid financial loss or the leakage of personal information.
According to the Cambodian Immigration Office, it was recently discovered that a website named https://edocs.online/index.php
is impersonating the official electronic arrival system, misleading travelers into submitting personal information on a fake platform.
The Immigration Department issued a statement saying: “This website is not an official website, nor is it created or authorized by the Immigration Department. Travelers planning to enter via international airports must verify the authenticity of the website to avoid being misled by fraudulent sites.”
The statement emphasized that currently the only legitimate channels for filling out the electronic arrival card are the official website www.arrival.gov.kh
and the ‘Cambodia e-Arrival Card’ mobile application. Both are official and free services, requiring no fees.
The Immigration Department calls on travelers to process entry procedures through official channels only, and to properly protect their personal information to avoid falling victim to online scams.
