Honghua Attends Training in Beijing to Enhance Leadership and Plan School Development

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 8th) Organized by Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College, the “Huajiao Tongxinyuan—2026 Leadership and School Development Planning Training Program for Chinese School Administrators” officially began today (8th). Honghua School Board Chairperson Lyu Shiyun and School Superintendent Zheng Shijuan jointly participated in this intensive 8-day training, gathering with over 80 Chinese education professionals from 29 countries around the world in Beijing for exchange and study.

This training program features a diverse curriculum that closely follows the forefront of Chinese education development, focusing on four major themes: “Chinese Cultural Thought,” “Chinese Education Enterprise,” “Seminar and Discussion,” and “Cultural Experience.” Its goal is to enhance the strategic vision and practical abilities of Chinese school administrators.

The “Chinese Cultural Thought” segment centers on the empowerment from traditional culture and the integration of modern values, including topics such as “Learning Chinese Traditional Culture for Life Empowerment,” “Essentials of Chinese Culture and Overseas Chinese Education,” “Chinese Cultural Heritage and Cultural Confidence,” “I Ching Culture and Chinese Philosophy of Life,” “Development of Contemporary Chinese Cultural Enterprise,” and “An Afternoon Tea with Su Dongpo,” among others.

In the “Chinese Education Enterprise” segment, the curriculum covers key areas such as teaching management, curriculum design, psychological counseling, and technology application, including communication management, mission and vision of Chinese education, overseas Chinese affairs and Chinese education, revision concepts and framework of ‘Chinese—Primary’ textbooks, enhancement and expansion of cultural teaching in Chinese education, design concepts and implementation of ‘Preschool Chinese,’ application of artificial intelligence in youth education, and topics on psychological issues among adolescent students and teachers’ responses.

The seminar and discussion section centers on in-depth exchanges about two main themes: “The Four Modernizations in Chinese Education in the New Era” and “The 4th World Chinese Education Seminar and New Era Chinese Education Innovation and Development Forum.”

For cultural experience, participants will visit the Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center, Guangyuyuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, iFlytek Artificial Intelligence Exhibition Hall, and Juyongguan Great Wall. Through field visits, they will further appreciate the depth of Chinese culture and the development of modern technology.

This training not only provides a high-quality platform for exchange among global Chinese school administrators, but also deepens the participants’ understanding of the mission of Chinese education and the inheritance of Chinese culture through the combination of theory and practice.

The two Honghua School leaders expressed that they will integrate the results of this training into the school’s future development planning, further promoting the distinctive and modern development of the school’s Chinese education.
