Child Trafficker Wang Haowen Sells 14 Children, Has Been Executed

Wang Haowen, a man from Sichuan, China, began trafficking children in 2001. After being released from prison, he showed no remorse and continued to traffic children, with a total of 14 victims over time. Wang Haowen was previously sentenced to death in both the first trial and the appeal, and the sentence has now been carried out.

According to news from the Supreme People's Court on the 2nd, several typical cases of trafficking in children and women were made public, showing that Wang Haowen has been executed.

Case files indicate that Wang Haowen, from Dazhou, Sichuan, was born in 1957 and had previously served prison sentences for fraud and theft. After release, he went to Yueyang, Hunan to work, where he married and had children.

Starting in 2001, Wang Haowen trafficked 11 children, 10 of whom are still missing.

In 2006, Wang Haowen was sentenced to three years in prison for abducting children. After his release, he was involved in trafficking another six children, three of whom were sold to Shantou, Guangdong. As of June 2014, over more than a decade, Wang Haowen had trafficked a total of 14 children.

After being arrested, Wang Haowen refused to truthfully confess to most of his crimes and showed no remorse. He was sentenced to death for child trafficking in both the first trial and the appeal.
