Myolie Wu Laughs About Husband Bumping Into Her Ex Bosco Wong’s 'Century Hug' With Him Was Hilarious

On August 14th, Myolie Wu was a performing guest at the 'SHINE ON! Po Leung Charity Concert' held at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Speaking of her husband Philip Lee’s recent encounter with her ex Bosco Wong in Malaysia—where the two even shared a 'century hug', stirring much discussion online—Wu laughed and said she found the situation quite hilarious.

She revealed that Philip Lee and Bosco Wong did not know each other beforehand, so when she saw the video of them hugging online, she was quite surprised.

“I thought it was so funny. I asked my husband, ‘Such a big thing happened and you didn’t tell me?’ He said he just forgot. To him, it was nothing special, just like meeting an ordinary friend, so there was no need to specifically mention it.”

When asked if her husband knew Bosco Wong was her ex, Wu burst out laughing and replied: “Of course! The whole of Hong Kong knows. How could he not know?”

Years Without Awkwardness Seeing Her Ex

Wu candidly said she hasn’t seen Bosco Wong in many years, but as adults, and since the past is long gone, she holds no resentment towards him.

She added that if they meet in the future, she would still say hello and not deliberately ignore him.

“I’m already married and have children. I wish him well. What’s most important is that everyone is happy and healthy, and especially that Bosco’s mom is healthy.”

As for whether she would mind acting with Bosco Wong again in the future, Wu said her husband absolutely wouldn’t stop her.

“We’re all professional actors—it mainly depends on the roles and the script.”

The reporter then jokingly asked whether she might play a character who hunts down Bosco Wong in the future. Wu burst out laughing and replied: “I never said I wanted to kill him—there’s no need.”
