Taiwanese geomancy master Zhan Weizhong, who frequently appears on television, was recently complained about by a client for not bringing a compass to a feng shui assessment, and for the fact that the first thing he did upon arriving at the client's house was to leave behind 'lucky pee', claiming it could bring good fortune to the house. The client felt that his feng shui practice was unprofessional and that he promoted lucky ornaments, leaving the client quite dissatisfied. Zhan Weizhong has personally responded to these criticisms.
Zhan Weizhong shared on social media that he rarely uses a compass even on TV, so the compass is not the focal point. He believes that traveling long distances to the central or southern regions for feng shui consultation is to be expected, and the duration of the visit can vary. Sometimes, after a long journey, he would ask the client to use their restroom, and saying he leaves behind 'lucky pee' is just a joke. He emphasized that when assessing feng shui, he makes it his duty to understand and enter almost every space. For any shortcomings in his service, he is willing to visit again free of charge for another assessment, or even invite the client to his studio for a second, complimentary explanation using the floor plan. As for promoting feng shui products, he stated that while he does make recommendations, it is entirely up to the client's decision, and if clients are unhappy or find the product ineffective within six months, they are welcome to return it.
