The Islamic Party is questioning why the authorities stopped buses carrying supporters from going to the Putrajaya Palace of Justice to attend a rally in support of former Prime Minister Dato' Seri Najib.
PAS Information Chief Ahmad Fadhli stated that he received reports of some buses being prohibited from entering Putrajaya.
“As a government that claims to promote reform, they should provide a safe space for the people to gather.”
He said at a press conference outside the Palace of Justice on Monday (January 6): “They should also make it easier for the people to express their voices.”
When asked about a police report accusing him of insulting the Malaysian royalty, Ahmad Fadhli stated that he would fully cooperate with the authorities in their investigation.
The National Integrity Party Youth Wing stated on Sunday (5th) that they would continue to lodge reports with the police regarding Ahmad Fadhli's alleged derogatory remarks about the royalty.
