As U.S. President Trump’s visit to China approaches, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, a leading figure in the American chip industry, was not invited to join the trip. The invited participants include the CEOs of major companies such as Tesla, Apple, ExxonMobil, GE Aerospace, Boeing, as well as executives from Meta, Qualcomm, Blackstone Group, Cisco, Micron, BlackRock Group, Citigroup, Mastercard, and Visa.
The White House on Monday released a list of business executives expected to accompany Trump to Beijing, involving a total of 16 CEOs and business leaders. The most notable among them are Apple CEO Tim Cook and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
According to sources, Jensen Huang has not been invited, as the White House is focusing this visit primarily on agriculture and commercial aviation matters, such as a Boeing passenger aircraft procurement deal.
