According to AFP reports, Thailand's Pheu Thai Party stated that the party's chairperson and Prime Minister Paetongtarn declared her assets on the 3rd, revealing that she owns assets worth over 400 million USD (approximately 1.8 billion MYR). This includes over 200 luxury branded bags worth over 2 million USD, as well as at least 75 luxury watches valued at nearly 5 million USD.
Paetongtarn, the youngest daughter of Thailand's wealthy former Prime Minister Thaksin, took office as Thailand’s Prime Minister in September last year, becoming the fourth member of her family in 20 years to lead the Thai government. As the current government leader, Paetongtarn is required by law to declare her assets and liabilities to the Thai National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).
Documents released by Thai media show that Paetongtarn has assets totaling 13.8 billion baht (approximately 1.8 billion MYR).
According to the declaration, Paetongtarn's investment projects are valued at about 11 billion baht (approximately 1.437 billion MYR), with an additional 1 billion baht (approximately 131 million MYR) in deposits and cash. She owns 75 watches and other types of timepieces valued at a total of 162 million baht (approximately 21 million MYR), as well as 217 branded bags with a total value of 76 million baht (approximately 9.92 million MYR).
In addition, Paetongtarn has 108 rings, 205 pairs of earrings, and 9 designer art toys known as "Kubrick Bears".
Paetongtarn also owns valuable real estate in London and Japan.

At 38 years of age, Paetongtarn graduated from Chulalongkorn University, the highest institution in the country, and went to the University of Surrey in the UK to obtain a master's degree in international hotel management. After graduation, she entered the family business to help out, but following the military coup leading to the exile of her father and aunt, she stepped into politics as a family member and took on the important responsibility of leading the Pheu Thai Party.
