Will Models Lose Their Jobs? GUESS Sparks Controversy with Sexy AI Female Models

American fashion brand GUESS used AI female models in the latest August issue of fashion magazine Vogue, sparking a lot of controversy. Some believe that letting this trend continue will lead to massive unemployment among models.

According to ABC News, AI marketing company Seraphinne Vallora generated two AI female models for Guess, namely the blonde Vivienne and the black-haired Anastasia. From the images, you can see that "they" have beautiful faces and curvy figures.

Critics argue that people want to see real humans in fashion magazines. If AI generation continues to be used, it will put all models and photographers out of work. Some female netizens also said that seeing AI models’ outfits does not motivate them to shop.

Seraphinne Vallora co-founders Gonzalez and Petrescu emphasized in an interview that they absolutely have no intention of replacing the modeling industry, but instead aim to achieve coexistence through new marketing approaches.
