William Chan has been frequently selling his properties in Hong Kong lately, drawing attention from the public. He first sold his North Point luxury apartment, held for 11 years, at a loss this May. Recently, he sold a Kennedy Town penthouse for HKD 3.05 million (approximately MYR 1.58 million), having owned it for 15 years and making a profit of HKD 750,000 (around MYR 390,000). In less than a month, he sold two residential properties in succession, cashing out a total of HKD 29.33 million (about MYR 15.18 million).
According to Hong Kong media outlet 'Hong Kong 01', the latest property sold by William Chan was a high-floor Unit C of Man Fat Building on Hau Wo Street, Kennedy Town. The usable area is 219 square feet (about 6.2 pings), with an additional rooftop of about 240 square feet (around 6.7 pings). It was finally sold for HKD 3.05 million (approximately MYR 1.58 million). The report revealed that the new buyer is a foreign national.
William Chan entered the entertainment industry through a singing competition in his early years and signed with Emperor Entertainment Group. In recent years, he rose to fame in the mainland China market. Last year (2025), he publicly acknowledged his relationship with a Chinese supermodel and quietly announced his marriage and the birth of a child. In addition, his appearance in the Chinese drama 'Shine On Me' achieved high ratings, making him successful in both love and career. Now, having sold two properties held for over 10 years in less than a month, he has added tens of millions of Ringgit to his fortune.
