(Bandar Seri Begawan, 16th) The Bandar Seri Begawan Kuang Hwee Mutual Aid Society held the 2025 Academic Excellence Award Ceremony for members’ children yesterday afternoon at the Grand City Hotel. A total of 29 students received awards.
In his speech, Chairman Yip Tian Fook of the Bandar Seri Begawan Kuang Hwee Mutual Aid Society stated that although the 42nd Academic Excellence Award Ceremony for members’ children was held in a simple manner, the aim was to take this opportunity to congratulate and affirm those students who have worked hard and shown outstanding performance in their studies.
"This honor is not only an affirmation of the award recipients’ efforts in learning, but also a result of parents’ dedicated nurturing and teachers’ wholehearted teaching."
Yip Tian Fook urged the award recipients to take this as a new starting point, to continue to study diligently, cultivate good character, constantly improve themselves, and to give back to their family, society, and country in the future after achieving success.
