Although the girl group S.H.E is still unable to officially reunite for a concert due to trademark authorization issues, the sisterly bond between the three has never faded over time. Today (18th) marks Ella's (Chen Chia-Hwa) 45th birthday, and Selina and Hebe once again made an appearance as promised to celebrate their friend's birthday. The three joyfully reunited and formed a giant heart shape with their hands, and the short video instantly evoked countless fans' memories of their youth. Netizens once again pleaded, “Please, we must see an S.H.E concert in our lifetime!”

21 Years of Sisterhood Sweetens the Internet

S.H.E debuted on September 11, 2001, accompanying countless fans through their youthful years. In 2018, after their contracts expired with their former company HIM International, the three established their own studios to pursue their entertainment careers. However, since the “S.H.E” trademark is still held by HIM, performing classic group songs at major public events still requires authorization. As a result, the trio has yet to officially reunite on stage, keeping many fans eagerly waiting.

Although it's rare for them to appear together on stage, their private sisterhood remains unwavering. Around June 18 each year, Selina and Hebe almost always show up on time to celebrate Ella’s birthday, and this year was no different. Ella shared a video of their reunion on her IG Stories: the birthday girl sat confidently in the center while Selina and Hebe playfully raised their hands and spun around, and finally, the three, in perfect sync, formed an enormous heart with their hands. The scene was heartwarming and funny, as if time had never passed.

Ella also posted another photo of her happily blowing out birthday candles with her husband, Lai Ssu-Hsiang, and their son, Jìn Bǎo, writing: “45 years old~~~ Content, safe, healthy, happy.” She also joked that the heart-shaped hand gesture they made at the end was actually suggested by her son Jìn Bǎo, adding even more childlike whimsy to the birthday video.
