(Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd) The Brunei Muara District Police Station intercepted a car carrying smuggled alcohol and tobacco at SHOAS Bridge yesterday, seizing 456 cans, 60 bottles of alcoholic beverages, and 100 packs of cigarettes.
Upon receiving a tip-off, the police immediately proceeded to SHOAS Bridge and successfully intercepted the vehicle headed towards the city. The driver of the vehicle, an unemployed local resident, has been taken to the Muara District Police Station along with the vehicle for further investigation.
