(Bandar Seri Begawan, 3rd) According to Xinhua News Agency, Brunei and its neighbor Sarawak, Malaysia jointly held a food, handicrafts, and creative industries fair this Saturday, reflecting both sides’ firm commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in trade, tourism, and sustainable development.
Dr. Dato Seri Liu Guangming, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy of Brunei, stated that the exhibition is a vibrant platform supporting the growth of entrepreneurs in local food, creative, and handicraft industries.
At the launching ceremony of the "Brunei-Sarawak Cultural Connection and Food Showcase" held on Saturday, he pointed out that this exhibition also helps to deepen the sense of unity between the peoples of the two lands, as they have shared the same cultural heritage, language, customs and values since ancient times.
The two-day exhibition features more than 40 booths, showcasing a variety of products.
