The original Hallyu star Kwon Sang-woo became hugely popular in Asia with the drama 'Stairway to Heaven'. Recently, while returning to the screen with the new movie 'The Big Shot 2', he shared that during the filming of a drama, he felt unwell and went to the doctor, only to find his lungs had turned white.
Kwon Sang-woo, in order to promote 'The Big Shot 2', recently appeared on the YouTube channel 'Nearby Girls'. While filming at a beef intestine barbecue restaurant, he recalled that during a health check in the past, he found his lungs had turned white and was even referred to a major hospital for further examination.
The reason was that during the filming of 'The Big Thing', there were many Korean beef restaurants nearby the site, so he frequently consumed raw beef liver and other cattle intestines. He even praised a Korean beef restaurant for being generous with their spring onions. Over time, this led to a parasitic infection, making him afraid to eat raw beef liver and other intestines again. He gradually recovered after taking antiparasitic medication.
