(Sibu, 13th) Rimbunan Hijau Group (RH) grandly celebrated its 50th anniversary at the Tun Datuk Patinggi Bujang Plaza, commemorating the group's outstanding contributions to the national economy over half a century and its excellent global reputation.
This grand celebration attracted a large number of attendees and featured performances by renowned artist Shila Amzah, local artists, lion and dragon dance teams, and special performances by RH Group employees.
The highlight of the celebration was an eye-catching performance by 330 drones and a 13-minute musical fireworks display, all orchestrated by three talented young individuals from Sibu.
Deputy Prime Minister Dato' Sri Fadillah Yusof, through the speech delivered by Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Dato' Nancy Shukri, highly praised RH Group's tremendous contributions and ongoing remarkable impact on the economic development of Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia, and globally.
“In the past 50 years, RH Group has not only consolidated its business but also made outstanding contributions to the economic development of Sibu, Sarawak, and Malaysia, leaving a profound impact in multiple countries,” he said.
Fadillah especially commended RH Group Managing Director Dato' Tiong Hiew King's vision and relentless efforts, attributing the group's continued success to his leadership.
“Now, under the outstanding leadership of Dato' Tiong Hiew King, we believe RH Group will achieve greater heights. He was also my colleague in Parliament before 2013,” Fadillah added.
