Pop queen Landy Wen has been rushed to the hospital for septic shock and is currently being treated in the intensive care unit. News of her hospitalization broke out, prompting friends in the entertainment industry such as Chou Hui, Nana Master, Ruby, Tseng Yu-chia, and Cheng Yi to flood her social media with messages, wishing her a speedy recovery and hoping she pulls through safely. Kenji Wu also called immediately to check on her condition. For her scheduled show in Lanzhou this week, Yuki Hsu will be standing in as an emergency replacement.

Since her debut in 2000, Landy Wen has risen to fame with classics like “Rooftop,” “Wish Me a Happy Birthday,” “Summer Breeze,” and “Hand in Hand.” Her solo ballad “Fool” has become a must-sing KTV anthem. In recent years, she has been active across mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, renowned for her superb vocal skills and dynamic dance tracks.

She was hospitalized due to a persistent high fever and severe abdominal pain, with her boyfriend and good friend Wu Yifan taking her to the hospital as soon as possible. Reporters from 1Pineapple News have been closely following her latest condition, inquiring whether Landy had shown signs of discomfort or expressed a desire to rest during her recent work commitments.

Her manager tearfully said, “She is very competitive and would never tell us if she felt unwell. She’s so considerate—she doesn’t want those around her to worry. In fact, when I get sick, she’s always the first to bring me medicine, and now she’s the one who has fallen ill… We were really shocked.”
