Adam Yii: Mayor's Award Honors Dedication and Contribution for a Better Future in Miri

(Miri, 9th) Miri MayorAdam Yii stated that since its establishment in 2018, the Miri City Mayor's Award has consistently aimed to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations who contribute to the sustained development of Miri through their excellent performance and selfless dedication.

This year's awards ceremony was grandly held last night at the Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club, attracting numerous guests and community representatives to witness this important moment together.

Adam Yii emphasized that the Miri City Mayor's Award is an open award, not restricted by institution type, nationality, religious belief, or racial background. The sole criterion for selection is the actual contribution to Miri's development, regardless of the field or form.

"We believe that anyone who puts effort into the progress and prosperity of Miri society deserves recognition and respect."

He thanked the event committee chairman, councilor  Abdullah Bin Jaini, and his team for their hard work, which ensured the success of this awards ceremony. He also encouraged people from all walks of life to continue contributing to Miri's development in their own ways.

"Let's join hands and collaborate to build a Miri City that is innovative, united, and caring, a city that is not only rapidly developing but also vibrant."

Adam Yii hopes that Miri can continue to move forward on its existing excellent foundation towards a sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous development direction, creating a better life for future generations.

He pointed out that Miri City's goal is to achieve the vision of a "green, smart, and most livable international resort city."

In his speech, he congratulated all the award winners tonight and expressed his hope that their achievements would inspire more people to strive together for the development of Miri and create a better tomorrow.
