(Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd) The first-ever typing speed competition hosted by Concepts Computer at Kiulap, Bandar Seri Begawan, concluded successfully yesterday, with 40 participants aged 18 and above taking part.
The competition took place from October 31 to November 1, aimed at testing the participants’ ability to type quickly and accurately, as well as selecting the fastest typist.
The competition was open to the public free of charge and received an enthusiastic response. Contestants used their own Acer laptops to participate, allowing them to use equipment they were familiar and comfortable with.
Concepts Computer General Manager Baiduri Pehin expressed, when talking about the event, that fast and accurate typing skills are crucial in today’s digital age.
He pointed out that, through this competition, they hope to encourage participants to develop these valuable digital skills, showcase how typing speed can improve work efficiency, and bring more opportunities to everyday life and work.
During the competition, Niwa Subba won first place, receiving a 27-inch Acer Nitro KG270 X1 monitor as the prize; Vincent Escandallo Castillo took second place, winning an 8-inch Acer Iconia A8 tablet; Syafiq Hamlee secured third place, winning an Acerpure foldable fan.
