(Selangor, 2nd) – Selangor police yesterday conducted an operation targeting commercial vehicles along Selangor–Serian Road and Selangor–Lundu Road, detecting six traffic violations and issuing six fines, including driving without a valid license.
Selangor Police District Chief Superintendent Mohamad Haid said that the operation was carried out yesterday from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, involving a total of four police officers and personnel.
He said that during the operation, police inspected 35 vehicles, including motorcycles, cars, four-wheel drives, and lorries, and checked a total of 45 people.
He said, “During the operation, police found a total of six traffic violations and, according to the PDRM (K)257 fines, issued six fines to the offenders.”
He stated that the offenses included driving without a valid driving license, not wearing seat belts, unauthorized modification of exhaust pipes, dangerous cargo loading, or cargo not properly secured, etc.
He pointed out that these actions not only violate legal regulations but also increase the risk of traffic accidents and endanger the safety of other road users.
Mohamad Haid stated that no one was arrested during the operation, nor was any property confiscated or seized. The operation proceeded smoothly without any unpleasant incidents.
He said that the Selangor Police District Headquarters will continue to carry out various law enforcement operations to strengthen road law enforcement efforts and enhance road users’ awareness of complying with traffic regulations.
