(Bandar Seri Begawan, 20th) Darussalam Motorcycle Association (PEMODA) honorary member Abu Bakar traveled to Pakistan to participate in a solo motorcycle riding event called “Pakistan Flower Journey,” bringing honor to Brunei.
This event aims to celebrate Brunei’s 42nd National Day and to promote the “Brunei Tourism Year 2027” to the international community.
According to Abu Bakar, this riding event will bring together riders from several countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, and Pakistan, but the identities of some participants are yet to be confirmed.
He said the journey is planned for April 18 to May 6, 2026, and the route will pass through Islamabad, Skardu, Gilgit, Passu, Besham, Mansehra, and the Khunjerab National Park at an altitude of 4,706 meters. This route is considered one of the most challenging in the region.
He hopes that this adventure will go smoothly and, through the spirit of sportsmanship and adventure, will showcase Brunei to the world.
Abu Bakar has extensive experience in motorcycle expeditions, having previously conquered many international destinations including the ASEAN Borneo region, India, Qatar, China, Japan, Mongolia, Nepal, and 20 countries in Europe.
