(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) Sixteen cycling enthusiasts from Brunei-Muara District, Tutong District, and Belait District recently participated in the 2026 New Year leisure cycling event held in the Tanah Jambu National Housing Scheme (RPN) area.
The ride started near the Setia Ali Mosque in Muara Town, covering a total distance of about 24 kilometers.
This cycling event was led by Abd Rahman, with Zainal serving as the chief marshal, ensuring the safety of all participants throughout the route.
Tanah Jambu National Housing Scheme village head Pengiran Mazrawi also participated in this cycling event.
Before the event began, Zainal conducted a safety briefing and explained the cycling rules on the road.
The main aim of this cycling activity was to strengthen friendship and unity among cyclists, as well as to promote cycling as a primary choice for a healthy lifestyle.
On the occasion of the New Year, in addition to the usual Sunday leisure city rides, other cycling activities will also continue to be held irregularly.
