(Bandar Seri Begawan, 2nd) The Royal Brunei Police Force recently held the closing ceremony for the 5th 2025 Mid-Level Management Administrative Development Course at the Officers' Mess Banquet Hall at Gadong Police Headquarters.
Brunei Police Commissioner Dato Seri Paduka Bahrin Sulayman Ariffin attended as the guest of honor. Other attendees included Universiti Brunei Darussalam Vice-Chancellor Dato Hazri Haji Kifli, as well as Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Noor Azam.
This 12-week course, jointly organized by the Royal Brunei Police Force and Universiti Brunei Darussalam’s Institute of Leadership, Innovation and Advancement (ILIA), drew a total of 20 participants. The participants came from the Royal Brunei Police Force, the Narcotics Control Bureau, the Royal Customs and Excise Department, the Immigration and National Registration Department, the Religious Enforcement Division, and the Internal Security Department.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Al-Fatihah and prayers for peace, followed by welcome remarks from the course coordinator, Inmi. The event also included a speech by a participant representative, the screening of a course activities video, and the presentation of certificates to the participants.
In addition, the organizers presented a souvenir to Universiti Brunei Darussalam in appreciation of the university’s support and cooperation during the course.
Other attendees at the closing ceremony included directors and deputy directors from the various departments of the Royal Brunei Police Force, as well as directors and senior officers from various law enforcement agencies.
During the course, participants received training in various modules covering leadership skills, management techniques, and the current challenges faced by law enforcement agencies. The organizers hope that through this course, participants can broaden their perspectives and enhance their abilities to perform their duties and meet the demands of their roles in mid-level management positions.
