Heavenly King Andy Lau (Wah Jai) is set to perform "Today... is the Day Andy Lau Tour Concert" again at the Hong Kong Coliseum after touring Southeast Asia, Mainland China, Taiwan and completing a total of 52 shows. On the 17th, he will return to the stage he hasn't performed at in 6 years to begin a series of 20 cross-year concerts, spending Christmas and New Year with his fans.
After completing the Taiwan show, Wah Jai took a short break and has since been rehearsing intensively for the concert, including song and dance rehearsals, fully immersing himself in the performance. When asked if he feels more relaxed about performing in Hong Kong after 52 shows, Wah Jai admits: "Not at all! Every performance is equally nerve-wracking for me. This time I've chosen to sing mainly Cantonese songs for the 20 shows. Actually, for my personal ticketed concerts, it’s my first time singing on a stage with audiences on three sides. I believe the interactive atmosphere with the fans will be more focused."
Additionally, the concert organizer stated that Wah Jai will not be accepting any flower baskets for this concert, urging friends and fans to turn this gesture into goodwill by donating to the "Andy Lau Charity Foundation,” so that while enjoying the concert, they can also help those in need, achieving two goals with one action.
