(Seria, 29th) Nana Agro Farm is committed to providing the community with high-quality, naturally grown agricultural products, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and its brand-new Homegrown farm was officially launched recently.
Acting Director of the Department of Agriculture, Tiana Dennis, was invited to attend and officiated the opening ceremony of the farm. In addition to the presentation of consultant and distributor certificates, the ceremony also featured guided tours and live cooking tastings, allowing guests to personally experience the brand's 'farm to table' philosophy.
Currently, Homegrown Farm has started its first phase of operation, with a total of 11 greenhouse sheds: 5 are used to grow leafy vegetables such as greens and choy sum, 4 are for cultivating Japanese cucumbers, 1 for scientific research experiments, and 1 serves as a seedling nursery.
In his speech, Homegrown Director Liu Siyou stated that Homegrown is not just a brand of agricultural products, but a lifestyle rooted in quality, care, and community spirit. This opening ceremony marks the company's first step in opening its doors to the public and inviting everyone to experience it firsthand.
He added that Homegrown is actively applying for Brunei Good Agricultural Practice (BGAP) certification to demonstrate its commitment to quality, food safety, and sustainable agriculture standards, aligning with the country's goals for agricultural modernization and sustainable development.
