58-year-old Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has recently been reported to have ended her 19-year marriage with her second husband, singer Keith Urban. The two have allegedly separated and filed for divorce, the main reason cited as "irreconcilable differences."
According to other foreign media reports, during Keith Urban's tour last week, he changed the lyrics to the song that marked the start of his relationship with Nicole. Some people have even claimed that after changing the lyrics, he specifically sang to guitarist Maggie (Maggie Baugh), suggesting she is Keith Urban's new love interest, though those involved have not confirmed this.
Keith Urban co-wrote the 2016 song "The Fighter" with Carrie Underwood. Back then, rumors had it that Urban wrote the song to show his love for Nicole Kidman. However, during last week's performance, when Urban sang the line "When they’re tryna get to you, baby", he changed the "baby" to "Maggie," and followed up by singing "I'll be your guitar player," replacing the original lyric "I'll be the fighter."
After the news of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s divorce broke, Maggie uploaded a video on Instagram featuring Urban’s performance dedicated to her, expressing her surprise by asking "Did he really sing that?" and adding a shocked emoji. Netizens commented: "It's so vulgar to alter a song that was inspired by his wife like this. Absolutely disgusting." and "Wow, this song was written for Nicole."
