(Miri, 26th) Pei Min Middle School will host an Open Day event on December 8, 2024 (Sunday) at 8:00 am, inviting the public to understand the school's educational philosophy and various educational features.

The day's activities also include penmanship, calligraphy, and coloring competitions, welcoming students in grades four to six to actively participate. Registration is currently open, and enthusiastic entries are welcome.

The incoming principal of Pei Min Middle School, Bei Meijiao, recently personally visited the principals of various primary schools in Miri to convey information about the event and invite the students and parents to actively attend the Pei Min Open Day. At the same time, the event will include reports from the principal, the academic office, and the guidance office, providing detailed introductions to the school's educational philosophy, curriculum setup, and student development plans to help parents and students gain a comprehensive understanding of the school's educational features. Refreshments will be provided, allowing guests to communicate with teachers and school representatives to enhance understanding.

Current Pei Min principal Yang Youhe stated that the school places importance on the moral development of students, adhering to the principles of “Diligence, Harmony, Loyalty, and Perseverance” to cultivate students' sense of responsibility and perseverance. Good character is the foundation of all achievements, and the school believes that only students with good character can achieve long-term success in academics, sports, arts, and other fields, and make a positive contribution to society.

He emphasized that over 75% of the high school graduates continue further studies every year, with 56% choosing to study in domestic universities, while the other 41% go to Singapore, Australia, the UK, China, Japan, and Taiwan. Those who meet the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) standards can directly apply to enter the first year of university.
