(Hanoi, 18th) The “Era of Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and National Rise” Conference (2025 KOL Summit) was held this morning in Hanoi. Major General Le Xuan Minh, Director of the Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention, and Lieutenant General Nguyen Minh Chanh, Executive Vice President of the National Cybersecurity Association and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, attended the event.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, Major General Le Xuan Minh pointed out that in the digital age, key opinion leaders (KOLs) have become an important force in shaping social awareness, leading innovation trends, and promoting Vietnamese culture to the world. He described KOLs as “digital ambassadors” who play a positive role in national development and the implementation of the “Four Pillars Strategy of the New Era.”

He emphasized that the Party and State attach great importance to the development of KOLs and have formulated many policies to create a healthy environment that helps form a distinctive and sustainable digital economy, digital culture, and digital society.

The conference also announced two new initiatives: First, the establishment of the “Digital Trust” Alliance, composed of reputable KOLs, government agencies, platforms and enterprises. Its mission is to “exercise influence responsibly and lead trust.” Second, the launch of the “KOL Trustworthiness” project, which promotes image building, codes of conduct, and community standards, to build a positive, responsible, and patriotic KOL community platform.

It is reported that this summit is Vietnam's first national-level event of its kind, aiming to provide a platform for exchange between KOLs, administrators, enterprises, and platforms, promote the dissemination of values, and help Vietnam achieve sustainable development in the digital age.
