Staff members indicated that the unit has been operating on the mountain for decades and has a mature support process, so there is no need to be overly concerned about safety and living conditions. However, they also admitted that as the mountain is a closed environment, the living conditions are undoubtedly not as good as in the city.
This position operates on a shift system, usually requiring staff to be stationed on the mountain for no less than half a month each month. When not on the mountain, staff need to return to the workplace to assist with administrative and logistical work. The mountaintop is more than 10 kilometers from the county, and driving takes more than two hours.
On the morning of March 17, registration for the position officially opened. The recruiting unit said that there are currently many inquiries, showing that quite a few people are interested in this 'quiet' and unique position.
