Regarding the incident where former Minister of Economy Rafizi's son was attacked and injected, Minister of Communications Dato' Fahmi said that the police's investigation is covering all possibilities; therefore, he urged people not to make assumptions and to wait for an official statement from the authorities.
"I see that the police investigation will ascertain the facts. For now, it's too early for me to comment, but we are leaving the matter for the police to thoroughly investigate."
"I don't think someone like Rafizi will remain silent about this (because) he has appeared in court before, and he is used to pressure. If he is repeatedly suppressed, he will fight back. So, I don't think he will let this go easily. That's not Rafizi's style."
He sternly condemned the violence above when asked by reporters after officiating the Kampung Kerinchi landmark at the KL Gateway exit on Thursday (14th).
He also said that the Home Minister has briefed the People's Justice Party leadership and cabinet members on the matter, and law enforcement agencies will follow up with further actions, including reviewing security aspects.
