(Miri, 10th) The headmistress of SJK(C) Chung Hua Krokop Miri, Tang Suk Hung, stated that graduation holds profound significance for the sixth-grade students. Successfully completing their academic year and stepping into a new phase of life is truly gratifying and something to be proud of.
Speaking at the 71st Sixth Grade Graduation and Completion Award Ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic year held this morning, she pointed out that this year's graduation theme, "Promise Yourself a Bright Future," signifies that students should make a commitment to themselves on this important day to work hard every day in the future, create a bright future, contribute to the country and society, repay the training by teachers and the nation, and promote the steady development of the country.
She also specifically mentioned that Chinese school education requires mastering three languages, and that the graduation ceremony at Chung Hua Krokop was held earlier this year due to other important upcoming events.
She noted that this year's graduates are the first Chinese school graduates in Miri to have their graduation ceremony displayed on a large screen. Although the school is not the first to install a large screen, it boasts the largest screen, symbolizing the school's continuous progress.
To the sixth-grade graduates, Principal Tang conveyed that after graduation, they should continue striving for academic success, maintain a positive attitude, and live up to the expectations of their parents and teachers. She wished the graduates future academic success and a bright future.
To the students in grades one to five, she hopes they will make full use of the long academic holiday to prepare well for the new school year and achieve better results, bringing glory to themselves and the school. She encouraged the students, "Chung Hua is good, aim to be even better," and to constantly pursue excellence.
Tang Suk Hung sincerely wished all students, hoping they would give their all in the future and achieve the wish of "promising yourself a bright future," and wished everyone a pleasant holiday, a fulfilling life, and good health and safety.
