78-year-old Law Kar-ying has battled illness multiple times in recent years. In a recent interview with the YouTube channel “Red Tea House,” he revealed that his prostate cancer has relapsed, but he has decided not to undergo chemotherapy again and estimates that he has about 8 to 9 years left to live.
Law Kar-ying frankly stated that he has purchased two investment insurance policies and a house to leave to his wife Liza Wang, as well as two burial plots, planning for them to rest together in the future. Although he believes his wife is in good health and will likely outlive him, he still hopes to live longer to personally care for her for a lifetime. As for whether he has regrets in life, he calmly said: "I want to do everything, but I can’t achieve everything, so it’s better not to do it." He also mentioned that although he has no children, he has devoted his life’s skills to Cantonese opera and remains optimistic about life.
