‘Men in Black’ American actor Tommy Lee Jones’ 34-year-old actress daughter, Victoria, was found dead in a luxury hotel in San Francisco in the early hours of New Year's Day (U.S. time). It is reported that she was discovered by hotel staff, who then called the police. An audio recording of the emergency call has since circulated online, in which it was mentioned that she was suspected of having died from a drug overdose. When found, her skin, lips, and fingernails had turned a bluish-purple color. The official cause of death is pending further autopsy; authorities currently do not consider the case suspicious.
According to foreign media, Victoria had multiple prior offenses and arrests on record and she had admitted to law enforcement officers that she had a habit of using cocaine. A police spokesperson revealed in an interview that last April, police responded to a report alleging that Victoria was suspected of drug overdose. When officers found her, there was a white residue on her tongue and dried blood coming from her right nostril. At the time, she resisted arrest, but police were eventually able to subdue and take her into custody. She was ultimately charged with drug use, drug possession, resisting arrest, and obstructing or delaying police duties. Two months later, Victoria was again arrested on suspicion of domestic violence; police said at the time a man claimed he had argued with her about her drug use and was then assaulted by her, sustaining injuries to his face.
