Chinese President Xi Jinping met with US President Donald Trump in Busan, South Korea, on the 30th. The meeting between the two leaders lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes. After concluding the talks, Trump boarded Air Force One and departed South Korea, ending his trip to Asia.

Live footage showed that after the meeting, Trump and Xi Jinping left the venue together, both smiling. Before parting, they shook hands again and had a brief conversation.
Before leaving, Trump leaned in to whisper something to Xi Jinping and personally escorted Xi to his car. Xi Jinping and his motorcade then departed first.
That morning, Xi Jinping flew from Beijing, and upon landing at Busan’s Gimhae International Airport, he headed straight to the Gimhae Air Base for the meeting. Trump arrived a day earlier in Gyeongju and traveled to the venue by Marine One helicopter.
The two leaders began their meeting at about 11 a.m. local time (10 a.m. Malaysia time) at Gimhae Air Base. Before the formal talks, they shook hands for photographs and met with the press.
