GD's Paris Concert Descends Into Chaos as Chinese Fans Allegedly Assault Audience

K-Pop superstar G-Dragon (GD) is currently on a world tour, but the recent show in Paris, France, was marred by a controversy involving Chinese fans allegedly assaulting another attendee, sparking heated discussion.
A female netizen, Julie, publicly shared terrifying photos on Threads showing both of her legs bruised and covered in scratches, with a large bump on her forehead and her hand scraped. She suspects she may have suffered a mild concussion, and her eye was injured and bleeding. Julie revealed that this happened during the closing moments of GD's Paris concert, while GD was still speaking on stage. Six to eight Chinese audience members were making a lot of noise, so loud that other fans couldn't hear GD. Julie politely asked them to lower their voices, but instead they told her to shut up and started screaming loudly. Julie asked again for respect, but to her shock, she was met with a violent beating.

Julie stated that a tall and well-built male was the first to assault her, and then the entire group of Chinese fans joined in, even using their light sticks as weapons. Julie was beaten to the point that her forehead swelled, her contact lenses flew out, and her phone was stolen. While trying to defend herself, the assailants instead accused her of hitting them first, and eventually four people were taken to the police station, with two of them handcuffed. The incident sparked widespread discussion, with even Chinese fans expressing their outrage and saying it was a disgrace. They noted that Chinese and Korean fans already have strained relations, and that such behavior further tarnishes their reputation, calling it the 'bad apple' spoiling the group.
