Previously, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand stated on the 10th that with joint efforts from China and Thailand, Chinese citizen Wang has left Thailand and returned to China on the evening of the 10th local time.
The Thai embassy stated that the Thai side attaches great importance to this case triggered by online fraud, quickly launched a rescue operation, and effectively ensured the timely rescue of those involved, for which China expressed gratitude. The Chinese embassies and consulates in Thailand will continue to work closely with the Thai government and relevant departments to effectively safeguard the safety and legal rights of Chinese citizens in Thailand.
According to CCTV News, the return flight carrying Wang Xing arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at nearly 1 a.m. on the 11th.
After returning to China, Wang Xing posted on Weibo, thanking the Chinese government and others who helped him.

Wang Xing entered Thailand on January 3 and went missing at the Thai-Myanmar border. Thai police found him on the 7th and brought him back to Thailand. Thai police stated that after investigation, he was confirmed to be a victim of human trafficking.
