(Pattaya, 6th) Thai police are currently tracking a group of Chinese nationals who hurriedly fled a hotel with their luggage and equipment, including computers, after a Chinese man fell to his death from the hotel on Friday afternoon.
This incident took place at 1:55 pm on Friday afternoon at a hotel in northern Pattaya. Surveillance footage showed a Chinese man wearing a black top and shorts falling to the ground on his back. He briefly sat up before collapsing again.
A few seconds later, a man in a red shirt rushed to the fallen individual, paused briefly, then turned and ran back into the hotel.
At 2:06 pm, about 10 minutes after the fall, surveillance footage captured several Chinese men and women hurriedly leaving the hotel, taking with them luggage and equipment, including computers.
By 2:17 pm, a total of six vehicles, including a Mercedes-Benz, arrived at the hotel. Some of the Chinese individuals loaded computers into the cars and left, while others with backpacks walked away from the hotel.
According to police sources, investigators are reviewing CCTV footage to track down these fleeing Chinese nationals.
Police confirmed the deceased as Liu Song, 24, who fell from the sixth floor of the hotel, which hosts 16 rooms on that level. Investigators found clear evidence at the scene of a hurried departure.
