Jay Chou Reunites with Aaron Kwok After 18 Years – ‘Hei Lun’ Sparks Stir

On the evening of the 29th, Jay Chou (Jay) held the third night of his “Carnival” World Tour in Hong Kong at the Kai Tak Main Arena, inviting one of the Four Heavenly Kings, Aaron Kwok (Kwok), as a guest. Upon his appearance, Kwok delivered an energetic performance of his classic song “Wild City” with lively singing and dancing, igniting the crowd’s excitement. This marked the first time in 18 years that the two have collaborated again on stage.

Kwok, accompanied by his dance troupe, took to the stage for a hot dance with Jay Chou. Jay joked, “Welcome Heavenly King Aaron Kwok! Isn’t this a big surprise? Seeing you rise up on stage, I forgot I was supposed to dance.” Kwok responded, “I knew that this time Jay was coming to Hong Kong for his concert, and he hoped I could join. I’m very happy.” The two had previously performed together at Jay Chou’s Hong Kong concert in 2007, and Jay also wrote the song “Never Ending Love” for Kwok. Kwok mentioned he had been waiting over a decade and was always looking forward to singing with Jay Chou again. The two then performed “Never Ending Love” as a duet.

Besides the guest artists on stage, there was also a “Jay Chou” spotted in the audience—a lookalike known as “Hei Lun”—who immediately caught the fans’ attention. After some commotion, video clips shared by netizens showed Hei Lun being escorted to his seat by a security guard, with many fans in the venue approaching him for photos. The bodyguard responsible for protecting Hei Lun was none other than TVB actor Eddie Yeung.
