Attending the Ramadan Food Pack Donation Ceremony, Minister Counsellor Zheng Xuefang: China-Malaysia Friendship is Connected in Hearts

Chinese Embassy in Malaysia's Minister Counsellor Zheng Xuefang pointed out that this year marks the start of China's 15th Five-Year Plan and also the launch of Malaysia's 13th Malaysia Plan, with both countries having highly compatible development visions.

"China is willing to take this opportunity to further share development opportunities with Malaysia, deepen pragmatic cooperation in various fields, continuously promote the high-level and strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future, and continuously benefit both countries and their peoples."

Minister Counsellor Zheng Xuefang delivered these remarks while attending and speaking at the Ramadan Food Pack Donation Ceremony on Wednesday (the 11th). Project partners included Badlishah, President of the Islamic Renaissance Organization of Malaysia, Enol Lutfi, Chairman of the Islamic Renaissance Organization Foundation, and nearly a hundred Muslim community members who participated in the event.

At the ceremony, Minister Counsellor Zheng Xuefang, on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, distributed Ramadan food packs to representatives of the Muslim community. In his speech, he stated that the Islamic civilization's spirit of benevolence, tolerance, and harmony aligns closely with many traditional virtues of Chinese civilization, serving as an important foundation for deepening cultural exchanges and enhancing people-to-people connectivity between both sides.

He emphasized that the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia has long maintained close cooperation with the Malaysian government and civil organizations, actively supporting Malaysia's livelihood and charitable causes.

On behalf of the partners, Badlishah thanked the Chinese Embassy for its long-term support and good deeds. He stated that this Ramadan donation event by the Chinese Embassy fully demonstrates that the spirit of helping those in difficulty and caring for others transcends race and borders, and is a key force in promoting social harmony and cohesion.

This event further enhanced the friendship between the peoples of China and Malaysia, and showcased the positive achievements of both sides in cultural exchanges and public welfare cooperation.
