(Miri, 2nd) Want to build a house on your own land but don't know where to start? The Miri Member of Parliament Service Center, in conjunction with the National Housing Development Agency (SPNB), will jointly hold a “People-Friendly Housing Program” (RMR) briefing on the 4th of this month (Sunday). Interested members of the public are welcome to participate actively, understand the application conditions and housing construction process, and take the first step toward realizing the dream of owning a house.
This briefing will be held this Sunday afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm at the banquet hall of the Grand Palace Hotel in Miri.
The event is open to all members of the public who are interested in building houses on their own land. The organizers remind that due to limited seating, interested parties should fill out the Google form through the following link to reserve a seat as soon as possible: https://forms.gle/1ZvqL48De2DeG5J88.
The organizers stated that SPNB, as a government housing development agency, will provide a detailed introduction on the application qualifications, construction process, and necessary documents of the “People-Friendly Housing Program” in the briefing, and answer questions for the attendees.
The documents required for applying for RMR include:
1. Copies of ID cards of the applicant, second applicant, landowner, spouse, and children;
2. Copies of the latest title deed or Temporary Occupation License (TOL);
3. Copies of the latest official search certificate issued by the land office and site location map;
4. Recent three months salary slips/income statutory declaration/employer’s income certification letter;
5. Marriage certificate or divorce certificate;
6. Landowner authorization letter and applicant promise letter (forms can be downloaded online and must be certified by a district officer or court commissioner for oaths);
7. Photos of the land site and inspection form—ensure the land is ready for construction.
This briefing not only provides important information for people to obtain housing assistance but also allows those planning to build houses to understand their qualifications and application process. Don't miss this opportunity.
