(Bangkok, 27th) Bangkok's large shopping center Seacon Square is known for its innovative exhibitions. This year, the mall has previously built a 'Noah's Ark' with real animals inside, and during the Chinese Food Festival, it recreated the Great Wall of China. Now, for the first time, it is using a politically sensitive subject as a commercial gimmick, by creating a knockoff 'U.S. Presidential Mount Rushmore' on the mall's climbing wall. However, the faces on display are not the four American presidents, but current President Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un.
The mall management said that bringing together these four influential world leaders was not intended to convey support for any side, but to spark discussion.
The original Mount Rushmore National Memorial is located in South Dakota’s national park. The four statues carved into the mountain are American presidents Washington, Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt (the elder Roosevelt), and Lincoln.
