(Kuching, Dec 20) Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Corporate Affairs, Information, and UKAS), Datuk Abdullah Saidol pointed out that the changes brought by today's digital development have changed the business landscape, with customers now preferring "online shopping" over physical shopping.
He stated that businesses should explore digital platforms more to attract customers and further expand their operations in the global market.
Dato Abdullah Said, while delivering a speech at the National Consumer Action Council's 2024-2025 Consumer Certified Brand Awards ceremony last night, noted that not only Sarawak but the entire world is facing the challenges of digital platforms.
He revealed that with the continuous development of artificial intelligence, everything done by businesses in their operations will be digitalized.
He stated that the development of artificial intelligence will undoubtedly affect the way you do business and the way you attract users or customers.
He mentioned that this is not something that will harm businessmen but will open a new chapter for their business world by further expanding their business scope, especially on a global level.
During the award ceremony, Datuk Abdullah Saidol awarded the 2024-2025 Consumer Certified Brand Awards to 50 recipients.
