(Bandar Seri Begawan, 27th) The Royal Brunei Police Force held a donation ceremony yesterday for 76 orphans of its force's officers.
The Brunei Police Family Women's Welfare Organization hosted the event yesterday at the multipurpose hall of the Royal Brunei Police Force Headquarters in Gadong.
Datin Sabrina Aziemah, the spouse of the Acting Commissioner of Police and Chairperson of the Brunei Police Family Women's Welfare Organization, was the guest of honor.
The organization's orphan fund was established in 2007, with financial resources sourced from donations by officers and members of the Royal Brunei Police Force, as well as private individuals and the public.
The founding of this fund stems from a sincere wish to assist orphans, particularly in memory of the children of officers who passed away during their service in the Royal Brunei Police Force.
The donations aim to alleviate the burden of single mothers and guardians of orphans, to better prepare for the upcoming school year in 2025.
Such a ceremony is an annual event organized by the association and is one of the efforts specifically aimed at providing sincere donations to orphans of the Royal Brunei Police Force.
