Teachers introduced the origins of the Dragon Boat Festival, the significance of zongzi, and Qu Yuan's patriotic spirit to the children through picture book stories, nursery rhymes, and animated clips, sparking their interest in traditional festivals.
The "Zongqing Duanwu" hands-on experience followed, with older children trying to wrap zongzi under the guidance of teachers. They learned to fold bamboo leaves, fill them with glutinous rice, and tie them with cotton thread, experiencing the joy of labor and the warmth of the festival.
