In 2004, he officially entered the rap scene with the album "The Bangerz," and has been active as a singer for nearly 20 years. However, in 2024, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and after 2 years of treatment, ultimately succumbed to the illness. In 2024, Jerry.K revealed on IG that he had been diagnosed with glioblastoma brain tumor, and said that he had undergone surgery and was recovering, reassuring fans through his posts. Over the 2 years after his diagnosis, he fought hard against the illness and rarely updated his status. Unfortunately, he was ultimately unable to overcome it. Musician Kang Il-kwon confirmed the news of his death on Facebook, saying, "Even though we knew he had a brain tumor, it was still so sudden and there's nothing we can do. My feelings are so strange... I hope he rests in peace."
