(Miri, 10th March) Sarawak's Minister for Transport and State Assemblyman for Senadin, Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, visited the Permyjaya Ramadan Bazaar yesterday evening to interact with vendors and learn about their operations.
This year, the bazaar is set up in front of the Bank Rakyat Permyjaya Branch for the first time, having previously been held at the PermyMall. Dato Sri Lee made a special visit to inspect the site, ensuring that the vendors' businesses were running smoothly, and to gather their feedback on the new location.

Supporting Vendors Encouraging Community Spending
During the tour, Lee Kim Shin purchased a variety of delicacies to support the vendors practically. He expressed that he hopes to encourage more locals to support local businesses during Ramadan through his actions, promoting economic development together.
From observations on site, the new location has drawn a steady flow of people, and vendors generally expressed satisfaction with the new business environment. Lee Kim Shin also extended holiday greetings to all Muslim friends, emphasizing the importance of community support during this holy month.
