(Miri, 13th) Malaysia Youth and Sports Council Director  Alan Ling recently attended the opening ceremony of the pickleball court on the top floor of Ho Ching Yuan Wholesale City with Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh . They highly praised the corporate social responsibility spirit demonstrated by the owner of this court.

He stated that the owner of the court proactively undertook social responsibility by opening the venue for free use by local students, which is worth emulating by all sports court operators.

It was understood that the pickleball court is open for free to local students from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, allowing them to engage in sports in a safe and complete environment, promoting physical and mental health.

“This initiative not only helps to promote a healthy sports culture but also cultivates sports talent from a young age, laying a more solid foundation for the sports industry in our country.”

He further pointed out that the goodwill gesture of the Ho Ching Yuan Pickleball Court should become an industry model, and he hopes more operators will emulate it so that more students can benefit.

“We are willing to assist operators who intend to take on social responsibility. If there are owners who wish to provide free time slots for students, they can contact me. I can help liaise with the education department to benefit more schools and students,” Lin Si Jian added.

He hopes more local businesses will join the ranks to jointly promote the development of sports in our country, bringing more positive impacts to society.
